Terms of Use

Welcome to Shukshuk (shukshuk.co.il, "the Site"). Use of the Site is subject to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the Site. Use of the Site constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of the service

The Site is a platform for users to publish listings, between private and business users. The Site is not a party to any transaction between users, does not sell, buy, or broker any transaction. All transactions are conducted directly between users, at their sole responsibility.

2. Registration and account use

• Use of some Site services requires opening a user account.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity under your account.
• You may not transfer your account to anyone else or share access.
• Use of the Site is permitted only to users aged 18 and over.

3. User content and responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you publish, including listings, images, descriptions, messages, and comments ("User Content").

By publishing User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the rights to the content or have permission to publish it.
• The content is true, accurate, and not misleading.
• The content does not violate any law, is not offensive, and does not infringe third-party rights.
• If the content is a listing, it reflects a genuine offer and available item or service.

You grant the Site a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your User Content as part of operating the Site.

4. Prohibited content

You may not publish, among other things:

• Items that are illegal to sell (weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods).
• Discriminatory, racist, inciting, or offensive content.
• Content that involves consumer deception, fraud, or misrepresentation.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP rights.
• Pornographic or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Repeated posting of the same listing (spam).
• Personal details of a third party without their consent.

5. Site authority

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Remove listings or other content.
• Suspend or delete user accounts.
• Restrict access to some services.
• Change, add, or remove features and services on the Site.

6. Intellectual property

All rights in the Site's design, code, logo, and trademarks are reserved to the Site operator. These may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "AS IS". The Site operator is not responsible for content published by users, for the quality of advertised products or services, for the accuracy of information, or for actions users take with each other.

Subject to applicable law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages to users or third parties arising from use of the Site, listings on the Site, or transactions conducted via the Site.

You undertake to independently verify the identity of any counterparty, the condition of the product or service, and the terms of the transaction before making any payment or commitment.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the Site operator for any damage, loss, expense, or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or from content you published on the Site.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. In the event of a material change, we will post a notice on the Site. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or to use of the Site is vested in the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo.
